Not your grandma’s kolache.

Leave them wanting more. Sage advice for inciting curiosity, need & demand in a desired target. A practice Churchill’s latest customized eatery, Craft Kolache, has mastered to a T. Specializing in kolaches, a puffy doughy pastry traditionally filled with fruit compote, this new kid on the block is livening-up RVA’s food scene.

Even more exciting than its ingredient pairings, is the company’s Instagram-based release of the weekend’s available flavor combinations. With limited hours on Fridays and Saturdays, and even more limited in quantity, a line can be seen circling the shop during its earliest opening minutes. And when ALL the listed flavors leave their followers drooling? Sometimes quantity regulations have to be put in place to ensure as many different community members can try the tasty treats as possible.

Check out one of my personal favorite full menu pairings in the Instagram post above. Other flavors of interest include:

  • Blueberry Lemon Basil
  • Bacon Cheeseburger
  • Funfetti Birthday Cake
  • Raspberry Lemoncurd
  • Muffalleta
  • Sausage Gravy
  • Matcha Latte Cream & Pomegranate
  • Red Velvet Oreo

Imagine biting into one of your fave dinner rolls, fresh-out-the-oven, warm, soft and with just a hint of sweetness on the outside and filled with an intense bold flavorful pairing on the inside. It’s fireworks for your tastebuds. A rich and different surprise with every experience and visit, leaving you constantly in search of your next fix.

So if you find yourself in the wee waking hours of the day in Churchill one weekend, be sure to stop by Craft Kolache for a memorable breakfast that will have you hitting the FOLLOW button on their Instagram. (images from Kolache RVA)
